Образцы эссе (ЕГЭ)

Adults often think teenagers to be noisy, childish and violent. Some of them even don’t think they have any adult senses or wise thoughts at all but, as a teenager, I think we are intelligent enough to teach other people some things, and, according to this, I am not agree with the quotation on top of the page.

For example, lots of teenagers have better knowledge in technology, so they can teach the older generation how to deal with gadgets. In our gymnasium there are special classes for the senior people where they are taught to work on computers, as their teachers are teenagers.

Moreover, teenagers have the great knowledge in ecology, and they are really concerned on saving the planet alive. We talk a lot about environment on classes, we take part in ecology olympiades and contests for the best ecological projects and often won them, so we have a lot to tell the others about environmental problems and ways of their solving.

Besides this, teenagers can teach adults foreign languages. According to the statistics, 50% of adult generation of our country do not know any foreign language, so we can help them to come by the new knowledge or to improve that what they have. And, of course, students from foreign countries can teach Russian students their language, and Russians can teach them Russian. It is sometimes done in linguistic centres.

To sum up I can say that teenagers have great knowledge in many fields of study, so they can also teach the people of older generation and their classmates and friends.
Nowadays tourism is not just about pleasure, it is a big industry which brings in a lot of money. The essay statement claims that tourism is underdeveloped in Russia and increasing foreign visitors would benefit us.

I agree with this position for several reasons. Of course, some tourists do come to Russia but the number is very small compared to other countries. More visitors would mean extra business for hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions, helping the economy. Moreover, tourists would see Russia for themselves and report back on how wonderful our country is.

The alternative position holds that tourism could only play a minor role. A perfect example is Greece. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world but this did not save it from a financial crisis. Russia depends mainly on oil and gas, which tourism would never compete with.

Against this, I would say that there would be no harm in developing tourism. Greece went bankrupt despite, not because of tourism. We rely on natural resources for our position in the world but these are not equally spread around the country. Gas and oil are mainly found in the north of Russia but the south is perfect for tourism.

To conclude, I agree that more foreign tourists should come to Russia and that this would have a positive impact. It is wrong to ignore tourism because our main income comes from oil and gas. Tourism is a very attractive business for some parts of Russia.
There is a famous saying that money makes the world go round, and many people believe it is perfectly true. However, some people believe that other things matter more than money does.

In my opinion, many people place too much importance on money: they are under the illusion that money can bring them happiness, while, in fact, it only raises the level of comfort. Our state of happiness depends on completely different things such as belonging to a close family, being in a steady relationship with our nearest and dearest, the state of our health and friendships .Also, people seem to forget that money is only the means of achieving things, and not the ultimate aim in life. As a result, they devote all their time to earning money, and become obsessed with it to such an extent that they fail to enjoy life to the full.

On the other hand, no one would argue that we depend on money. We need it to pay for our accommodation, food and entertainment. A good income allows us to travel and pursue other hobbies. Undoubtedly, people have to have a job to make a living, and a good income increases their well-being.

Although money plays a vital part in people’s lives, we should not idolize it. After all, it is only something which makes our life comfortable, while some other values such as family and health have no financial value. Besides, it is common knowledge that among the wealthiest people there are those who are miserable and dissatisfied with their lives.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that money should not be placed too much importance on, as it is definitely not the main thing in life.
Nowadays leading a healthy lifestyle seems to be getting more and more fashionable, and the number of people devoting their time to doing sport and learning about dieting is on the increase. But is leading a healthy lifestyle always beneficial for us?

Firstly, I am convinced that people place a profound importance on their health for a good reason: without it people are incapable of appreciating all the other blessings in their life, such as having a good job, a regular income, travelling, hobbies and so on. For example, many jobs are too demanding and challenging for people with fragile health to cope with. What’s more, some health disorders may prevent people from having a job at all. Therefore, it is only natural that people do their best in order to remain fit and enjoy good health.

On the other hand, some people claim that many devotees of leading a healthy lifestyle are obsessed with sport and diets, which does them more harm than good. For example, some young girls try to stick to low-fat diets and eventually live on one packet of yoghurt and two apples a day while others torture themselves by constantly working out thus undermining their health.

However, I believe that moderation is the key whereas any health obsession is harmful and should be avoided. If people devote a reasonable amount of time to doing sport, don’t overeat and break unhealthy habits, it can only be beneficial for them.

To summarize, leading a healthy lifestyle is definitely a good thing, but all things should be done in moderation.
Sport has always played an important role in our life. However, while some people prefer individual kinds of sports, others choose team sports saying that they are not only more exciting, but also develop team skills.

II am convinced that team sports are definitely more beneficial for people than individual sports. Firstly, they encourage the players to cooperate with each other, which is a skill we need in our everyday life. In contrast, individual players are used to relying only on themselves, which is not always the best strategy. Secondly, playing sport becomes a much more exciting activity when people take part in it with their team members.

I However, those who support individual sports claim that it is more competitive as the winner does not share their prize with anyone. Furthermore, training on their own is likely to develop sportsmen’s willpower and discipline unlike team sports where their individual progress is not so noticeable.

I Nevertheless, it seems to me the abovementioned arguments do not stand to reason: in my opinion, competitiveness in sports depends on the personality of the participants rather than the sports they participate in. What’s more, I firmly believe that both discipline and willpower can be developed by whatever sports the person takes up provided they put their life and soul into them.

IIn conclusion, I share the opinion that playing team sports brings people more benefits, and it is more exhilarating to do so as well.
